七夕はStar festival そして、天の川は Milky Way 笹竹はbamboo branches
では、英語で説明しましょう。
The Star Festival originates from Chinese legend of the two bright stars, Altair and Vega. We call Altair "Hikoboshi" and Vega "Orihime".
They are allowed to meet once a year across the Milky Way only on the night of July 7th.
On that day, people decorate bamboo branches with paper strips.
